DCUO Soars onto the Nintendo Switch August 6th!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

When will DCUO launch on Switch?
DCUO will launch on Switch on August 6, 2019. 

Will my account or characters transfer from other platforms to Switch?
No. Players will connect to DCUO using their Nintendo Accounts, which will not be linked to existing accounts. 

Will DCUO on Switch be free-to-play?
Yes. As on other platforms, DCUO will be free-to-play on Switch.

Will DCUO on Switch allow crossplay?
DCUO will launch on Switch with a brand-new, fresh server, separate from all other communities. We look forward to exploring crossplay options in the future.

So while the Switch players will be playing on their own Server, its not off the minds of the Devs to bring Crossplay to the Platforms. We already know Xbox and Nintendo are working together on it for other games. For the Switch, it might be best for it to start on it’s own server before jumping into other servers like Xbox and PS4/PC to allow new players a chance to get acclimated into the new surroundings and figuring everything out. The game recently updated The Intro Mission, Brainiac’s Ship but there are more Leveling changes to come through your journey of 1-30 so those are hopefully going to arrive before the Switch Launch.
