Tides of War - Summer Event and Guide 2019!

Even after working together to dethrone Corum Rath over the past year, it seems Aquaman’s half-brother Ocean Master is back at it again as the battle for the throne of Atlantis continues! The Atlantean civil war returns once more to Metropolis to where heroes and villains will battle enemies to help their respective sides.

Track Tides of War in your Mission Journal and check the Events tab in the On Duty menu to battle for the Atlantean Outpost. Also using Warp Menu, head directly to the Open World Content by selecting Tides of War: Aquaman (Hero) and Ocean Master (Villain). Aid the Atlanteans how you see fit and gain rewards including new feats!

New Feats include:

  • Coral History (2 Star: 25 Points Feat)

    Collect 10 base items from 2019 Tides of War

  • The Shark Knight (1 Star: 10 Points Feat)

    Collect the Shark Fin

  • Pacific Swim (2 Star: 25 Points Feat)

    Collect the 4 new 2019 Tides of War swimwear items

  • King’s Beach (3 Star: 50 Points Feat)

    Collect the Summer Aura

The Ocean Current Aura is the reward for the DCUO Current Events collection, one of several collections featured in the DCUO Summer Event - Tides of War. This collection was first introduced as part of the 2019 update to the Summer seasonal event.

In celebration of the Summer Event, there are new base items, beach-ready styles, and a new aura to keep you looking cool in the heat of battle!

The DC Universe Online Summer Event: The Tides of War, returned in 2019 with 5 new style items. 4 of the items are inspired by swimwear. The 5th item is a Shark Fin back style.

The 2019 update to the DC Universe Online "Tides of War" Summer Seasonal Event saw an influx of 46 Atlantis themed base items, with inspiration taken directly from DCUO Episode 34: Atlantis. Among this batch of base items features the highly anticipated Coral base items, after making their debut as part of the Spindrift Station map in Episode 31: Deluge.

Don’t forget, tides of War runs from now until July 26th, ending with server restarts on July 27, 2019!
